Description
Project: Construct a new minor dwelling behind an existing home and install new retaining walls and deck.
Challenges: We removed existing garage and a deck. We replaced the boundary fences once the site was clear then went on to construct the dwelling. The design was simple yet effective with great use of sound insulation between the rooms to help reduce the sound between the bedrooms. Having the owners onsite in the front house was great as decisions could be made very easily and quickly.
The result: The house ended up fantastic and exactly what the owners wanted. We have now started a major renovation and extension to the main house which will complete the entire site and the owners can then enjoy the property with their extended family.
