Our proven 3-stage system ensures you always know what’s happening next, what to expect, and how your investment is being protected.
Stage 1: Envision – It Starts With Your Goals
Step 1: Let’s Talk
We start every project with a straightforward call to understand your goals, budget, and timeline. If needed, we’ll request your council property file upfront, so we’re speaking the same language from the get-go.
Step 2: On-Site, In-Person
Next, we visit your place to get the lay of the land—what you want, what you need, and your must-haves versus nice-to-haves. This is where we tailor a design brief to you and your budget.
Step 3: Confirm Your Vision
You’ll get your design brief in writing for sign-off. Clarity here avoids headaches down the road.
Step 4: Concept & Quote
We’ll present a straightforward quote for your concept plan and preliminary budget proposal—no hidden costs or fluff.
Step 5: Signed and Underway
If you’re happy, you sign the quote and pay 50%. Then, our team and designer (if needed) return for a detailed site visit, locking in any specifics necessary to move forward.
Step 6: Detailed Design Site Visit
We’ll do a follow-up with our designer and team to refine every aspect, from measurements to any technical requirements, so nothing slips through the cracks.
Step 7: Plans In Your Hands
Once the concepts are drawn, we’ll send plans to you for review and sign-off, and set a preliminary budget—so you always know where things stand early.
Step 8: Transparent Estimate
Before moving to the next step, we present a full estimate—with specs and standard inclusions—giving you confidence in the pricing, scope, and deliverables.
Stage 2: Design – Nailing Down the Details
Step 1: Design & Consent Contract
Review and sign off on our contract covering design, working drawings, and the full council consent path.
Step 2: Working Drawings Underway
Our design team kicks into gear—prepping detailed construction-ready drawings and wrangling any necessary engineering or specialist reports.
Step 3: Specifications & Selections
Now’s when you lock in every finish, fixture, kitchen, bathroom, and colour—no last-minute guesswork.
Step 4: On-Site Trade Walks
We bring all key contractors on-site to quote from your actual drawings and specs, so numbers are accurate, not estimates.
Step 5: Building Consent Submitted
We prep and submit your working drawings and liaise with council for building consent—taking the paperwork off your plate.
Step 6: Face-to-Face Quote Review
We’ll sit down together with the completed fixed-price quote and final plans—explaining every detail.
Step 7: Contract Signing & Deposit
You sign the Master Build Contract, receive your Guarantee, and pay the deposit. Your spot in our build queue is locked in.
Step 8: Pre-Start Project Launch
With consent issued, we pull together your project schedule and onboard you to our project management platform. You’ll meet your project manager, designer, and the key trades before a tool ever hits the site.
Stage 3: Deliver – From First Nail to Aftercare
Step 1: Site Set-Up
We establish the work area, set health & safety procedures, and introduce you to the whole project team.
Step 2: Client Meetings
Regular on-site meetings keep you updated, allow for questions, and make it easy to discuss changes as needed.
Step 3: Transparency
Daily photos and notes are uploaded to our project management software—so you always know what’s happening with your renovation.
Step 4: Client Walk-Through
At practical completion, we walk through together, answer any final questions, and get your sign-off.
Step 5: Project Handover
After the council inspection, you’ll receive all documentation, warranties, and your Master Build Guarantee.
Step 6: Compliance
We manage all paperwork required by the local council and secure your code of compliance certificate.
Step 7: Feedback
We value your experience and would appreciate an honest review to help us keep improving.
Step 8: After Move-In Care
Expect check-ins at 3, 6, and 12 months to make sure everything’s performing as it should and you’re fully satisfied.
